Graveside service for Paul E. Grady Jr. 85, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, in the Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Herzig will officiate. No visitation is scheduled.

Mr. Grady passed away Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, in Fort Worth. He was born Jan. 3, 1927, in Haratio, Ark., to Paul Elmo Sr. and Annie Laurie Martin Grady. He married Erma Marie Norman on Jan. 3, 1970, in Cleburne.

Mr. Grady served in the United States Navy during World War II and was a retired clerk for the Santa Fe Railroad. He loved cars and enjoyed reading and talking about them. Paul was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Erma Grady; step-daughter, Debbie Hutson and husband, Gary; daughter, Donna Bruce; sister, Rowena Parker and husband, James; brother, Martin Grady; daughter-in-law, Lisa Grady; granddaughter, Stephanie Bruce; grandson, Joel Grady; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins; and his beloved Boston Terrier, Tillie.

He was preceded in death by his parents; infant sister, Janet Elizabeth Grady; daughter, Dianna Rae Grady; son, Stephen Lynn Grady; brother, Henry Woodfin Grady; and sister, Kathleen Lavona Casagrande.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Community Hospice of Cleburne, to Bob and Hazel for their wonderful care, also to Community Hospice House personnel in Burleson for their special care.
