Paul Holtsman

Services for Paul M. Holtsman, 94, of Godley, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 8, 2008, at the First Baptist Church in Godley. The Rev. Kenneth Coleman will officiate. Burial will be in Godley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Monty Holtsman, Charles Holtsman, Jeff Atwell, Trent Honea, Justin Calahan, Jeremy Calahan, Jason Calahan, Jamie Calahan, Josh Calahan, Lyndell James and Jerry Nelson.

Paul M. Holtsman passed away Thursday, September 4, 2008 in Cleburne. He was born November 18, 1913 in Grayson County, TX to Charlie and Annie Woodard Holtsman. He married Winnie Johnson on April 27, 1935 in Cleburne.

Mr. Holtsman worked for Santa Fe Railroad for over 28 years. He served on the Godley City Council for 6 years and the Godley VFD. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Paul Holtsman is survived by his children, Anna Honea and husband, Travis of Godley, Raymond Holtsman and wife, Katrina of Godley, Judy Calahan and husband, Jerry of Cleburne; daughter-in-law, Tillie Holtsman of Alvarado; grandchildren, Monty Holtsman, Charles Holtsman, Sherrill Nelson and husband, Jerry, Jeff Atwell and wife, Christine, Tonna James and husband, Lyndell, Trent Honea and wife, Amy, Diana Holtsman, Justin Calahan and wife, Mistie, Jeremy Calahan, Jason Calahan, Jamie Calahan and wife, Destiny and Josh Calahan and wife, Julie; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Victoria Holtsman, Jake and Josh Nelson, Lauren and Garrett Atwell Taylor, Lyndsie and Leanna James, Bria and Danica Honea, Cash and Cale Calahan and Lyndsi Swiat. He was preceded in death by his wife, Winnie on September 12, 1995; son, E.P. (Sam) Holtsman;daughter, Lois Brandon; grandson, Shawn Holtsman and three sisters.
