Service for Peggy Jean Fuller Berry, 69, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 4, 2022, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Dr. Timothy Fuller, Reverend Donald Earl and Reverend Demetrius Crowder will officiate. Burial will follow in Chambers Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Monday, January 3, 2022, at the funeral home.
Peggy passed away Monday, December 27, 2021, in Fort Worth. She was born July 31, 1952, in Cleburne to John O. and Wynell Wideman Fuller. Peggy was a 1971 Graduate of Cleburne High School. She married Jimmy Berry at a young age and after many years of marriage they had Tura in July of 1980. After years passed and Peggy divorced Jimmy, Peggy and Raymond Liggins gave birth to Renata in 1988. Peggy lived many years in Fort Worth where she worked for Bagsby’s Pharmacy. Peggy also worked for the Cleburne Independent School District upon her return to Cleburne. She was known for her love of children and spent many years serving young women in the community by helping to take care of their children. She started most of her mornings with coffee, gospel music, her Bible and prayer. Some of her favorite past times were family, food, and A LOT of sports. Peggy could always be found in her chair watching and yelling at the TV as if the players could hear her. Peggy adored her grandchildren and was always very proud of them and their accomplishments. Her main goal for her grandchildren was to instill the love of the Lord in them as she always told them to keep Him first. Peggy was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.
Peggy is survived by her children, Tura M. Smith and husband, Kevin of Cleburne, and Renata Liggins of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Taya Berry of Houston, Kaden Smith of Cleburne, Kiya Amos and Kyli Amos both of Fort Worth; siblings, Ruby Nell Johnson of Arlington, Frances Hafford of Cleburne, Michael Fuller of Cleburne, Anthony Fuller and wife, Elsie of Fort Worth, Kay Fuller of Cleburne, Shelia Fuller of Cleburne and William Fuller of Arlington; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Hershell Fuller and John Fuller.
