Peggy Kay Diaz

Service for Peggy Kay Diaz, 58, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, April 20, 2024, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Del Cavaso officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Friday, April 19, 2024, at the funeral home.

Peggy passed away Thursday, April 11, 2024, in Cleburne. She was born September 8, 1965, in Brownwood, Texas to Andrew Gonzales Diaz, Sr. and Margarita Montellano Diaz. Peggy enjoyed visiting and socializing with people. She was blessed to have several people call and pray with her. She was a non-denominational Christian who loved the Lord and her grandchildren. Peggy liked to cook, as she worked in the food service industry. She enjoyed gardening, loved flower gardens, and interior decorating. Peggy will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Russo; sons, George “Chano” Ramirez and Matthew Ramirez; stepdaughter, Jensica Russo; 25 grandchildren; sisters, Silvana Diaz Briones, and Clarissa Diaz, her twin brother, Robert Diaz, and Alonzo "Lonnie" Diaz; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; and her two older brothers, Andrew Gonzales Diaz, Jr., and Gabriel Zaragoza Diaz; her daughter, Kristina Ramirez; and a grandson, George “Boo” Ramirez.
