Celebration of life for Peggy Lou Taggart Hunt, 86, of Cleburne will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 21, 2018 in the Hope Church, 2125 N. Nolan River Rd. in Cleburne. Pastor Todd Barham will officiate.
Peggy Lou Taggart Hunt passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018, in Cleburne. She was born December 14, 1931 in Jefferson City, MO to Everett and Golda Williams Taggart. She married Melvin Hunt on February 1, 1947 in Olathe, KS and he preceded her in death on October 25, 2013, after 67 years of marriage.
Mrs. Hunt was a retired aircraft technician for McDonald Douglas. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Thomas Hunt and wife Danielle of OK and Teresa Hewgill and husband Ken of Cleburne; seven grandchildren, Rachelle, James, Jathan, Mary, Emily, David, and Matthew; 10 great grandchildren, Destiny, Hannah, Elizabeth, Sarah, Jaycee, Allie, Linda LouAnn, Natalie, Samuel and Gabriel; great-great grandchild, Leilani; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Rick Hunt; great grandson, Austin Smith; and siblings, Beraneice, Wanda, Ray and Bud.
