Peggy Scarbrough

A memorial service for Peggy Scarbrough, 75, of Cresson will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, April 12, 2015 in the Cresson Cemetery. The Reverend Al Munger will officiate.

Peggy Scarbrough passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015 in Granbury. She was born July 15, 1939 in Livingston, Texas. She married Dale Scarbrough in 1960 in Cresson and he preceded her in death in 1992.

Mrs. Scarbrough was a teacher with more than 30 years of service and was of the Methodist faith. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her sister-in-law, Dorothy Scarbrough of Cresson; nieces, Mona Lingle and husband Greg, Sheila Shaw and husband Doug, and Karen Scarbrough; great niece and nephew, Calli and Justin; and a host of friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
