Phillip Montgomery

Services for Phillip Montgomery, 67, of Alvarado, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2008, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Rev. Charles E. Payne will officiate. Burial will be in Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wes Montgomery, Terry Montgomery, Mike Montgomery, Shelby Montgomery, Gary Braddock and Blake Braddock. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Townes and Floyd Clark.
Phillip Montgomery passed away Sunday, August 3, 2008 in Ft. Worth. He was born August 11, 1940 in Godley, TX to Olen (Kit) and Birta Lee Bryant Montgomery. He married Bobbie Gauntt on May 2, 1994 in Burleson, TX.
Mr. Montgomery was a production worker for 28 years with the Lennox company and a warehouse worker for 10 years for Kelly Moore Paint.
Phillip Montgomery is survived by his wife, Bobbie Montgomery of Alvarado; sons, Brian Montgomery and wife, Ladonna of Rio Vista and Jay Montgomery of Cleburne; step-daughter, Theresa Mason and husband, Jerry of Crittenden, KY; step-son, Douglas Gauntt and wife, Denise of Goose Creek, South Carolina; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Olen D. "Butch" Montgomery of Cleburne, Wesley M. Montgomery and wife, Sharon of Keene and David M. Montgomery and wife, Geri of Keene. He was preceded in death by one sister, Patsy Braddock and his parents, Olen (Kit) and Birta Montgomery.
