Phillip Oliver

Services for Mutt Oliver, 81, of Ft. Worth will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 20, 2010 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Kenny Kennedy will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clint Oliver, Jeremy Oliver, Dusty Oliver, Wade Bingham, Johnny Cryer and Ronnie Bourg. Honorary pallbearers are Ken Hussong, Ed Klenow, David Lloyd and Robert Anderson. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Thursday.

Mr. Oliver passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2010 in Rio Vista. He was born October 16, 1928 in Venus to Virgil Lawson and Esker Lee Williams Oliver. He married Beverly Lawson on January 2, 1989 in Arlington.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly Oliver of Ft. Worth; daughter, Phillis Oliver and husband Greg Keith of Cleburne; sons, Max Oliver and wife Jeannie of Ft. Worth and Terry Oliver and wife Melissa of Garden City, Kansas; step-daughter, Deb Lawson and husband Greg Vanhoose of Ft. Worth; step-son, Rick Lawson of Burleson; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Doodle Cryer, Janie Anderson and Jan Bingham.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
