Phyllis Mae George passed away Sunday, April 30, 2006 in Ft. Worth. She was born August 3, 1930 in York, Pennsylvania to Curvin E. and Pearl Siar Switzer. She married Clifford George on December 1998. Mrs. George was an operator in the telephone industry.
Phyllis Mae George is survived by daughter, Tanya Sheldon and husband Rick of Alvarado; two sons, Tom Sowers and wife Penny of Oswego, Illinois and Terry Sowers and wife Donna of Aurora, Illinois; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters, all of York, Pennsylvania; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford George in 1998 and one brother.
