Primitivo Rodriquez

Service for Primitivo “Primo” Rodriquez, 67, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 30, 2014 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Dr. David den Hartog will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Lee Ramirez, Caleb Lovvorn, Saul Samaniego, Adam Rios, Bailey Rios, Jonathan Rodriguez, Adam Rodriguez, and Charlie Rodriguez.

Rosary will be conducted at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Primitivo “Primo” Rodriquez passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014 in Cleburne. He was born June 10, 1947 in Goliad, Texas to Juan and Demencia Escabar Rodriquez. He married Belen Rios on April 14, 1969 in Cleburne.

Mr. Rodriquez worked as a glass temper, with more than 15 years of service at American Flat Glass Company. He was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include his wife, Belen “Betty” Rodriquez of Cleburne; four children, Ramona Lovvorn and husband Rodney Henslee of Joshua, Rosa Ramirez and husband Frank, Becky Reid and husband Kenneth, and P.J. Rodriquez and wife Abby, all of Cleburne; eleven grandchildren, Lee Ramirez, Brittany Ramirez, Kristen Reid, Savina Rodriquez, Caleb Lovvorn, Sarah Lovvorn, Eric Lovvorn, Isaiah Rodriquez, Romon Rodriquez, Melissa Rodriquez, and Anthony Rodriquez; great grandchild, Liam Ramirez; seven brothers, Johnny, Richard, Severo, Ysidro, Sam, Charlie, and David Rodriquez; and five sisters, Dominga Mederano, Helen Solis, Mary Solis, Elena Burn, and Santos Sanchez.


He was preceded in death by his parents, and three sisters.
