Quiva Strength-Hays

Quiva J. Strength Hays,85, of Cleburne, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 31, 2020 in Cleburne, Texas. Quiva was an activist for Relay For Life, she was a volunteer for Whistlestop in the park and a member and main contributor to the prayer garden at Lane Prairie Baptist Church. Quiva loved working in her yard and flower beds.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Arville Hays; her companion of 12 years, Arthur Bullard; daughter, Janice Watson; grandson, Freddy Watson; Mother and Father Velma & Buford Strength; and her four brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her two daughters, Joann Lawrence and husband Robert of Joshua, Texas, Triva Skinner of Cleburne, Texas; and her son, James (Bubba) Hays and wife Tammy of Springtown; and a multitude of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Hays will be laid to rest beside her husband of 49 years, at Greenacres Memorial Park on January 8, 2021 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Lane Prairie Baptist Church of Joshua Building Fund or Johnson County Relay for Life. She will forever be loved and missed by all those who knew her.
