Graveside services for Ray Bennett, 80, of Sadler, TX, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2009 in the Rosehill Cemetery. Pastor Houston Garner will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m.
Ray Bennett passed away Monday, March 23, 2009 in Sadler. He was born June 21, 1928 in Whiteright, TX to R. L. and Willie Sims Bennett. He married Martha Williamson on June 21, 1986 in Cleburne.
Mr. Bennett was a truck driver and was of the Christian faith.
Ray Bennett is survived by his wife, Martha Bennett of Sadler; three daughters, Annett Brand and husband, Mickey, Rhonda Wontroba and husband, Frank and Teresa Perdue and husband, Brian all of Sherman; one son, Michael Bennett of Ft. Worth; two step-daughters, Debra Leslie and husband, Butch of Sand Flat and Pam Alarcon and husband, Rubin of Mansfield; two step-sons, Rickey W. Ross and wife, April of Sherman and Bobby Gene Ross, Jr. and wife, Kay of Sadler; thirteen grandchildren; eleven
great-grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; ten step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, James Jenkins of Lewisville and Marvin Jenkins of Carrollton and one sister, Betty Jo of Tyler. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
