Ray Hilliard

Services for Ray Hilliard, 80, of Hermitage, TN will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, March 14, 2015 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. David Wallace will officiate. Burial will be in Rio Vista Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, at the funeral home.
Ray Hilliard passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in Nashville, TN. He was born February 14, 1935 in Marlin, TX to William Cecil and Nona Bess Seay Hilliard. He married Annette Martindale on Feb. 2, 1961 in Cleburne and she preceded him in death on June 18, 2003.
Mr. Hilliard was a member of the church of Christ. He served as a minister for 32 years in Potosi, MO, Hermitage, TN, Madisonville, TX, Marietta, OK, and Gainesville, TX.
Survivors include his daughters, Donna Rodgers and husband Butch of Keller and Sandy Jackson and husband Kevin of Hermitage, TN; son, Robert Hilliard of Nampa, Idaho; eight grandchildren, Kenny, Kari, Haley, Tyler, Bret, Shelby, Sadie, and Joe; two great grandchildren, Kalen and Max; brother, Dan Hilliard and wife Nathalie of Bryan; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his parents.
