Ray White

Service for Ray White, 92, of Crowley, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Monday. May 2, 2011 in The Church of the Holy Comforter in Cleburne. Father Jonathan Duncan and Father Richard McHinery will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Sunday, at the funeral home.

Mr. White went to be with his Lord and his beloved wife of 55 years, Hester Ruth and their beautiful daughter, D'Maris on Thursday, April 28, 2011 in Cleburne. He was born December 21, 1918 in Paris, Texas to William Preston and Ollie Pearl Floyd White. He married Hester Ruth Cason on July 3, 1942 in Paris.

Ray worked in the nuclear industry as a welding inspector until retirement. He loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor. He was an active member of The Church of the Holy Comforter in Cleburne. Ray was a delight to all who knew him and will be missed greatly.

Survivors include his son, Lt. Col. (Ret.) William A. "Bill" White and wife Trish of Denton; granddaughter, Heather Brister and husband Larry and great grandsons, Collin, Brennan, Camden and Caiden Brister, all of Cleburne; grandson, Cason White and wife Allison and great granddaughter, Madeleine White, all of Houston; nieces, Pat Beaty and husband Joe of Coppell, and Michele Loes and husband George and their three sons, of Houston; numerous cousins in Paris, TX and Hot Springs, AR.
