Raymond Atchison

In loving memory of Raymond Lynn Atchison, 1920-2006. He is remembered as a loving husband, wonderful father , and a patriot. Married for over 62 years to Thelma Loyce Atchison, together they raised two wonderful children, Cheryl Atchison Mills of Angleton, Texas, and Raymond Ellis Atchison of Rio Vista, Texas. During World War II Sgt. Atchison served bravely earning two bronze stars and a purple heart with a gold leaf cluster. He loved his family and his country.



Mr. Atchison was born in Rawls Texas on June 15, 1920, and passed December 29, 2006. He is survived by his wife - Thelma Loyce Atchison, daughter ? Cheryl Ann Mills & husband Mike, son ? Raymond Ellis Atchison & wife Patti, Grandchildren ? Shawn Mills & wife Vanissa, Wesley Atchison, & wife Andrea, Cymbre Dunnigan & husband Joe, Heather Mills, Russel Atchison, Great Grand Child ? Jaymison Dunnigan, one aunt ? Mildred Reed Davis, numerous Nieces & Nephews, and many wonderful friends.



Arrangements are with Crosier ? Pearson Funeral Home in Cleburne, Tx. Family Visitation is scheduled for Saturday December 30 from 7:00 ? 9:00 pm. The funeral Service will be held at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel on Sunday December 31 at 2:00 pm with graveside services to follow at the Rio Vista Cemetery.
