Raymond Hearrell

Service for Raymond Hearrell, 82, of Hillsboro, Texas will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 3, 2013 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00-6:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Raymond Hearrell, devoted husband, precious Daddy and Grandpa, treasured friend, truly a man of men passed away Monday, September 30, 2013. Another angel got his wings. Raymond Andrew Hearrell was born in Coal County, Oklahoma in 1931. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict and was a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge. For years, Raymond owned and managed Arlington Heights Appliance in Fort Worth, Texas and in 1971; he took over the operation of Lamb’s Stone Ground Cornmeal in Hillsboro, TX and became owner/operator in 1997. He spent his years farming and ranching in Hillsboro, enjoying the outdoors and loved all creatures, great and small. His favorite moments were spent with his loved ones- both his family and dear friends.

Raymond is survived by his wife Margeory Hearrell; children, John Deike, Raymond Hearrell and wife Nancy, Debbie Marsh and husband Ernie and Rebecca Thimm; grandchildren, Laura Davis, Valerie Hall and husband Jason, Elise Hearrell, Christi, Carolyn and Robert Howell, Carrie Hunnicutt and husband Raymond, Ellen and Kyle Marsh and Errin Rudd and husband Jason; great-grandchildren, Brenden and Brynlee Hall and Cameron and Mason Hunnicutt, all from Texas. He will be missed by his siblings, Neoma Burk, Linda Davis and husband Earl, Jerry Hearrell and wife Debbie, Wanda Stephens, Flora Ann Fink, Allen Hearrell, Charles Hearrell, Kim Hearrell, Lissie Hearrell, Mary Lou Nickel, Annette Tolbert and Penny Tolbert as well as his stepmother, Sadie Hearrell, residing in Oklahoma. Raymond also treasured his trusted friends, John Sampson, Michael Looney and his “Hillsboro Coffee Shop Buddies”.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby Marie Hearrell and Ulysses S. Hearrell of Coal County, Oklahoma as well as his brothers, Ronnie, Wendell and Robert Hearrell, Jr.
