Raymond Holtsman

Service for Raymond Holtsman, 68, of Godley, will be conducted at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013 in First Baptist Church of Godley. The Reverend Ken Coleman will officiate. Burial will be in Godley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kirk Carrell, Roy Carrell, Steve McLaughlin, Fred Willis, Larry Richeson, and David Richeson. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Daniel, Carl McLaughlin, Sam Hardcastle, Rusty Leight and Buster Sowell. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Raymond Holtsman passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013 in Dallas. He was born Mar. 5, 1945 in Cleburne to Paul and Winnie Johnson Holtsman. He married Katrina Wiley on Feb. 7, 1969 in Azle.

Mr. Holtsman served in the United States National Guard and worked as a carman for both the Santa Fe and Union Pacific Railroads for 34 years. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Katrina Holtsman of Godley; daughter, Diana Holtsman of Lewisville; two sisters, Judy Calahan and husband Jerry of Cleburne and Anna Honea and husband Travis of Godley; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Shawn Holtsman, brother, Sam Holtsman and a sister, Lois Brandon
