Raymond McKittrick

Raymond Lee McKittrick, 72, of Cleburne passed away peacefully Sunday, November 23, 2014 surrounded by family.

Raymond was born June 19, 1942 in Yuma, Arizona to Edward Lee and Dorthy Davis McKittrick. When he was about 5 years old, he moved to Fort Worth, Texas and later met and married Rae Ann Songer on March 1, 1960, Raymond and his father worked in construction building Sinclair gas stations in the DFW area. They later began building McDonald’s restaurants, which took him to New Mexico, Oklahoma, Colorado, and across Texas. Raymond worked for Wal-Mart in Stephenville and Cleburne until he retired.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Dorthy; his daughter-in-law, Karen Lea McKittrick.

He is survived by his wife, Rae Ann; sons, Raymond and wife Tonya of Godley, Randy and wife Debi of Keller, and Ryan and wife Gabriella of Hutto; grandchildren, Patrick, Kris, Victoria, Taylor, Nicholas, Rachel, Rylee and Jordyn; two great grandsons, Lohrn and Tatum; and brother, Richard "Glenn" McKittrick and wife Mary of Godley. He was a member of the Selden Baptist Church.

A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 P.M., Friday, November 28, 2014 at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Mission Hospice, 505 N. Ridgeway Dr., Ste, 173, Cleburne, Texas 76033 in honor of Raymond.
