R.C. Whitehead

Services for R.C. Whitehead, 81, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2008 in the Lane Prairie Baptist Church. Rev. Jerry Clements will officiate. Burial will be in Lane Prairie Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alan DuBose, Rick Webster, Joe D. Steadman, Jim Steadman, Jim DuBose and Charles Whitehead.
R.C. Whitehead passed away Sunday, November 9, 2008 in Cleburne. He was born July 11, 1927 in Acton, TX to Charles Andrew and Ruth Hudson Whitehead. He married Eva Mae Bonham on August 9, 1953 in Godley.
Mr. Whitehead was a welder and a member of Lane Prairie Baptist Church.
R.C. Whitehead is survived by his wife, Eva Mae Whitehead of Cleburne; two daughters, Sandra DeLos Santos and husband, Avelardo of Alvarado and Carolyn Sirek and husband, Daniel of Joshua; grandchildren, Rick Webster and wife, Karen of Harrison, Ark, Delisa McKinzie and husband, Wesley of Edmond, OK, Bryan Webster of Angleton and Alan DuBose and wife, Christine of Burleson; six great-grandchildren and brother, Euclid Whitehead of Egan. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Andrew and Marlin.
