Service for R.C. “Mac” McFall Sr., 73, of Godley, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 17, 2018 in the Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Rosehill Cemetery. The Reverend Charles Payne, Judge Kit Cooke and Chaplain David Murdoch will officiate. Pallbearers will be Mark Reinhardt, Gary Lackey, Mark Carpenter, Justo Flores, Larry Higgins and Jody Lambeth. Honorary pallbearers will be Kit Cooke, Dan Roberts, Jerry Cash, Ben Oefinger, ESD Board members including, Tommy Foster, Gerald Miller, Darren Yancy, Rick Cumins and Wes Shipley. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday at the funeral home.
R.C. “Mac” McFall passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018 in Fort Worth. He was born January 25, 1945, in Glen Rose to J.C. and Irene Mann McFall. He married Elizabeth Elaine McCarty on August 11, 1967 in Cleburne.
He was elected and served as Johnson County Commissioner from 1993-2008, a 50 year member and 32nd degree Scottish Rite, and member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years Elaine McFall of Godley; children, Robert McFall Jr. of Glen Rose, Lori Wilson and husband Randel of Granbury; grandchildren Lauren Riggan, Kynlee Wilson and Logan Wilson all of Granbury and numerous cousins which include Nan Martin of Granbury.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
