Reba Cheek

Mrs. Reba Cheek passed away Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006 in Cleburne. She was born Nov. 16, 1920 in Sulpher Springs to John and Fannie Peara Lee Turner Dodson. She married Everette Lecil Cheek on July 22, 1939 in Dallas. Mrs. Cheek was a retired secretary in the wholesale industry and a member of the Westhill Church of Christ.
Mrs. Cheek is survived by her husband of 67 years, Lecil Cheek of Cleburne; son, Roger Cheek and wife Kay of Plano; daughter, Gail Birkett and husband James of Garland; brothers, Howard Dodson and wife Billie of Dallas, Julian Dodson and wife Kit of Plano; sister, Willa Jost of DeSota, three grandchildren, Scott and Corey Cheek both of Dallas and Shelley Flanagan of Sachse; four great grandchildren, Carson and Riley Cheek both of Dallas, Michelle Brown of Garland and Brittany Jackson of Sachse; two great great grandchildren, Madison Brown and Micaela Williams both of Garland.
