Service for Reda Thomas Rodgers, 82, of Grandview will be conducted at 3:00 P.M., Friday, Nov. 4, 2011 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Charles E. Payne will officiate. Pallbearers will be DeWayne Thomas, James Kiker, Robert Kiker, Todd Thomas, James Jones and Danny Thomas. Burial will be in Rio Vista Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Thursday.

Mrs. Rodgers passed away Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011 in Cleburne. She was born May 13, 1929 in Hill County to Robert Lee and Sallie Nevada McNeeley Hammonds.

Mrs. Rodgers was a homemaker and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Grandview, Rio Vista American Legion Auxiliary, the Disabled American Veterans Association and Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Reuben Lee Rodgers of Grandview; sons, Eddie Gene Thomas and wife Yvonne of Grandview and Larry Wayne Thomas and wife Judy of Blum; daughter, Linda Kiker Jones and husband Mark of Cleburne; step daughters, Peggy Reed and husband Arlyss of Cleburne and Kathy Miller and husband Van of Aquilla; son-in-law, Kriss Kiker; seven grandchildren, six step grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 19 step great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and one step great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward A. Thomas on Aug. 27, 1980, three brothers and four sisters.
