Relton Wayne Bennett, born October 12, 1937, passed away June 23, 2023.
Relton graduated from Texas Wesleyan University and his last employment was with J.C. Penneys. He loved music and played the autoharp for many years in a band. Relton was loved by many and will be missed greatly by all who knew him.
Relton is preceded in death by his father, John Claiborne Bennett; mother, Flossie Kathleen Wood Bennett and brother, Claywood Bennett.
Relton is survived by nephew, John Claywood Bennett of Garland; nieces, Gay Tackett of Burleson and Jana Ayers and husband, Perry of Weatherford; numerous cousins; great and great-great nephews and nieces. He leaves behind his beloved dog, Jaime Lee that he thought the world of.
A memorial service will be at a later date.
