Rema Barrett

Services celebrating the life of Rema V. (R.V.) Barrett will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 21, 2007 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Rev. Al Crain and Rev. Van Amber will officiate. Burial will be in Baker-Lain Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wendell Barrett, Dellman Barrett, Russell Barrett, Farrell Barrett, Monte Kemmerling and John Calvin Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Whitlock, Finis Butler, Jake Brooks and Charles Dickey.
Rema V. (R.V.) Barrett, 71, went to live with the Lord forever on Thursday, January 18, 2007. He was born October 28, 1935 in Spur, Texas to Vernie and Maude Barrett. He had retired, a machinist with 18 years of service, from Lockheed in Fort Worth,Texas.
R.V. was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Baby Lee. He is survived by his caring wife, Oleta of Osceola, TX; 6 children, son, Wendell and wife Dianne of Glen Rose, TX; daughter, Freda of Osceola, TX, daughter, Brenda Kemmerling and husband Monte of Cleburne,TX; son, Dellman and wife Cyndi of Dublin,TX; son, Russell and wife Karen of Weatherford, TX; son, Farrell and wife, Tonja of Cleburne, TX; 15 grandchildren and spouses; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Dorris Cook of Spur, TX; niece,Lynn Schellinger of Kingwood, TX; cousins and many friends.
