Rene Bridges

Service for Mary René Bridges, 73, of Arlington, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 20, 2021 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Clyde Slimp will officiate. Burial to follow in Godley Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, April 19, 2021 at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home.

René passed away April 15, 2021 in Arlington. She was born to Edwin and Vessie (Rose) Harper on April 27, 1947 in Floydada, Texas. Mary was a legal secretary for Barbara Nunneley Family Law. She was a member of the Texas Bar Association. Mary was a member of Westside Church of Christ. She married Johnny Bridges on January 27, 1968 in Cleburne.

René is survived by her husband, Johnny Bridges of Arlington; daughter, Stephanie Johnson and Mark of Trophy Club; son, Greg Bridges and Amy of Roanoke; sister, Pat Morelli of Grand Prairie; grandchildren, Hunter Bridges, Austin Bridges, Cooper Johnson and Sophie René Johnson.
