Services for Rene Goodman, 81, of Joshua, will be conducted at , in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Brother Wes Lancaster will officiate. Burial will be in Blum Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Goodman, Roger Goodman, Steve Goodman, Tom Jackson, Tommy Allison, Thomas Chavira, Heather Jackson and Shelby Land.

Rene Goodman passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2007 in Ft. Worth. She was born March 31, 1926 in Hill County, Texas to Mont V. and Lois Hagar Harckom Cox.
Mrs. Goodman was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ in Blum.

Rene Goodman is survived by her daughters, Shirley Jackson of Weatherford, TX and Susan Chavira and husband, Thomas of Roanoake; sons, Bill Goodman and wife, Dodie of Houston, Roger Goodman and wife, Jackie Kaye Stevens of Joshua and Steve Goodman and wife Rhonda of Joshua; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Julia Faye King of Ft. Worth and Elmira Beasley of Ft. Worth; brother, Johnny Lee Cox and wife Lou of Waxahachie and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Lynn Goodman in 1962 and Andrew Allen Goodman in 1974.
