Graveside services for Rhodes Arthur Dyer, 98, of Hot Springs, Ark., formerly of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015, in Greenacres Memorial Park. Mr. Karl Jones, minister of Burleson Church of Christ will officiate.
Rhodes Arthur Dyer passed away Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, at her home in Hot Springs, Ark. She was born Aug. 20, 1917, in Granbury to Olie Reese and Nora Rhodes Barton. She married Ben W. Dyer on Sept. 29, 1934, in Granbury and he preceded her in death on March 2, 1990.
Mrs. Dyer was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and a friend to many. She was a longtime resident of Godley, retired and moved to Cleburne in the 1970s and two years ago moved to Arkansas to be with her son and daughter-in-law. She was a member of Westhill Church of Christ in Cleburne.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Debbie Dyer of Hot Springs, Ark.; grandchildren, Lance Davidson and wife, Theresa, of Frisco, Trent Davidson and wife, Teresa, of Amarillo, Lorre Zinda and husband, Andrew, of Cypress, Jarrod Dyer and wife, Sarah, of Midlothian, Misty Clark and husband, Mike, of Little Rock, Ark., and Brandon Bridges and wife, Jennifer, of Hot Springs, Ark.; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Selena Terry of Fort Gibson, Okla.; son-in-law, Jim Davidson and wife, Janie; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Bennie Jo Davidson.
