Richard Binkley

Graveside service for Richard Arlos Binkley, 81, of Cleburne, TX will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Monday, April 15, 2013 in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Sunday, April 14 at the funeral home.

Richard Arlos Binkley passed away Friday, April 12, 2013 in Cleburne. He was born Dec. 14, 1931 in Pierre, SD to Arlos and Genevieve Eldridge Binkley. He married Esther Ida Inman on Dec. 27, 1954 in Pierre, SD.

Mr. Binkley was a rancher and farmer. He was a member of the Moose Lodge of Ft. Pierre, SD. He was of the Methodist faith. He was a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed the outdoors with his family; skiing, hunting, rodeo and 20 years of travel with Esther visiting family. Along with his sons, they celebrated a total of 84 years of sober living.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Esther Binkley of Cleburne; sons, Rick Binkley and wife Lisa of Grandview and Marlin Binkley and wife Suzanne of Austin; granddaughter, Caysi Binkley of Los Angeles, Calif.; grandson, Codi Binkley of Sonoma, Calif; great grandson, Jaden Binkley of Sonoma, Calif.; sister, Pat Harding and husband Homer of Pierre, SD and a brother, Ken Binkley and wife Ina of Roswell, GA.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bob Binkley.
