Services for Richard D. Davidson, 77, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 1, 2006 at First Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Rev. E.D. Ingram will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Richard Davidson passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2006 in Cleburne. He was born December 16, 1928 in Fort Worth to Amie and Thelma Gee Davidson. He married Louise Ray on June 1, 1955.

Mr. Davidson was a retired tool room worker for Santa Fe Railroad and a member of First Mt. Zion Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge.

Richard D. Davidson is survived by sons, Michael Davidson and Ricky Davidson of Witchia Falls, and Curtis Davidson of Cleburne; 7 grandchildren, Derek Davidson and wife LaTasha of Washington D.C., Jaquetta Davidson of Austin, Morgan Davidson of Austin and Richard Curtis Davidson of Gary, Indiana;and great grandchildren, Derrian and Dalton Davidson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Davidson on May 7, 2005; 2 brothers, Wayman "Punnie" Davidson and A.C. Davidson.
