Service for Richard Milton Donahoo, 82, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, March 25, 2013 in the Nolan River Road Baptist Church. The Reverend Larry York and the Reverend Charles E. Payne will officiate. Entombment will be in Greenacres Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 3-5:00 P.M., Sunday at the funeral home.
Richard Milton Donahoo passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013 in Keene. He was born June 9, 1930 in Hamilton to William R. Pope and Irene Donahoo. He married Veleria Munday on June 12, 1954 in Evant.
Mr. Donahoo served in the United States Army. He was a jeweler and watch maker. He enjoyed traveling and tinkering in his shop. Mr. Donahoo was a member of the Lion’s Club and Cleburne Chamber of Commerce. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Veleria Donahoo of Cleburne; children, Patricia Yates and husband Buddy of Rio Vista, Raymond Donahoo and wife Amelia of Cleburne and Randy Donahoo and wife Patricia of Victoria; grandchildren, Sean Yates, Dana Yates, Richard Donahoo, Summer Donahoo, and Justin Donahoo; and several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, William R. Pope and mother, Irene Donahoo.
