A memorial service for Richard “Ricky” Fox, 69, of Cleburne will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church. The Reverend Charles E. Payne will officiate.
Richard “Ricky” Fox passed away Friday, Feb. 5, 2016 in Ft. Worth. He was born June 6, 1946 in Glen Rose to R.B. and Sarah Fredonia Gray Fox. He married Brenda McKelvy on January 17, 1968 in Cleburne.
Ricky served six years in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era. He attended the Independent Baptist College and North Texas Baptist College and retired from the Johnson County Jail in Cleburne. Ricky was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and a friend to many. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Brenda Fox of Cleburne; daughters, Mindi Martinez of Cleburne, Shawna Solis and husband Jesse of Keene, and Emily Sharp and husband Steve of Ft. Worth; 11 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother, Sam Fox and wife Nelda of Cleburne; sister, Karen Fox of Tennesse; father-in-law, P.J. McKelvy of Cleburne; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents.
