A memorial service for R.L. Stovall, 91, of Ft. Worth, formerly of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Friday, Jan. 15, 2016 at Rosehill Cemetery.
R.L. Stovall passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016 in Ft. Worth. He was born June 23, 1924 in Godley to Raymond Lee and Leona Pernell Stovall. He married Edith June Killingsworth in 1943 and she preceded him in death in 2000.
Mr. Stovall served in the United States Army and was a car dealer until retiring. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and a friend to many. R.L. enjoyed hunting, his bird dogs, and golf. He was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include his sons, Michael Stovall and wife Nancy of Houston, Brian Stovall and wife Suzanne of Ft. Worth, Kevin Stovall and wife Karen of Dallas, and Shawn Stovall of Ft. Worth; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brother, David Stovall and wife Wanda of Ft. Worth; loyal dog, Candy; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by his parents; brother, Edwin Stovall; and son, Christopher Stovall.
