Robert Anderson

Service for Robert George Anderson, 69, of Cleburne will be conducted at 12:00 P.M., Tuesday, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Cleburne. The Reverend A.L. Boatner will officiate. Pallbearers will be Edward Craig Anderson, Lewis Wilborne, Darion McCullough, Jason Wilborne, Onnie McCullough and Wesley Anderson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gerald Anderson, Derick Mitchell, Charles Scott, Joe Felan, Jr., Devin Mitchell, Dexter Mitchell, Reginald Brown and Jack Felan.
Mr. Anderson passed away Friday, Dec. 9, 2011 in Cleburne. He was born Jan. 13, 1942 in Cleburne to Willie P. and Ira Lena Webster Anderson. He married Frankie Banks on April 18, 1966 in Cleburne. Mr. Anderson was a member of the St. Paul CME Church in Cleburne and was a retired Machine Chief for Johns Manville with 35 years of service.
Mr. Anderson graduated from Booker T. Washington High School and attended Prairie View A&M University.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Mrs. Frankie B. Anderson; daughter, Minister Robin Deneese Anderson; father, Willie P. Anderson; sisters, Deyedrua Quigley, Marsha Lynn Anderson, Sharon Gail Anderson, Willie Anne Anderson, Millie Sue Anderson and Myrtle Deneese Anderson; brother, Webster Anderson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Anderson; sister, Demita Jo Anderson and his mother, Ira Lena Anderson.
