A graveside service for Robert “Bob” Lee Campbell, 77, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 12, 2015 in Rosehill Cemetery. The Reverend Larry York will officiate.
Robert “Bob” Lee Campbell passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015 in Fort Worth. He was born August 23, 1937 in Fort Worth to Rufus and Verna Mae Anderson Campbell. He married Sandra Bates on December 31, 1995 in Dallas.
Mr. Campbell served in the United States Air Force. He was an iron worker and helped to build the derrick at Six Flags Over Texas. He was also a maintenance technician for General Motors for many years and retired from Texas American Foods as a maintenance technician. He was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Bates Campbell of Cleburne; son, Rickey Campbell and wife Christy of Cleburne; daughter, Tami Carmichael and husband Tim of Joshua; grandchildren, Adam Campbell and wife Angie, James Caleb Brooks, and Crystal Carmichael Bolt; five great grandchildren; three step children; five step grandchildren; five step great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandson, Jon Thomas Carmichael.
