Graveside services for Robert James Chandler, Jr., 77, of Joshua will conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2006 at Cleburne Memorial Park Cemetery. Dr. Gene Wolfenburger will officiate.

Robert James Chandler, Jr passed away Saturday, February 18, 2006 in Joshua. He was born September 15, 1928 in Greenville, TX to Robert Sr. and Francis Walkins Chandler. He married Mary Jim Luallen on March 30, 1962 in Fort Worth.

Mr. Chandler was a mechanic in the trucking industry. He was a member of the Joshua Baptist Church, Lions Club, Joshua Masonic Lodge and Shriners of Ft. Worth.

Robert James Chandler, Jr. is survived by his wife, Mary Jim Chandler of Joshua; sons, Bobby Jim Chandler and wife Iris of Numberg, Germany and Robert James Chandler III and wife Sherry; stepchildren, James Edgar of Ashford, Ill, Kenneth Chandler and wife Pam, Wanda Sue Buford and husband Tommy; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Leah Lassiter and Helen Crabtree; brother, Buddy Robinson and a host of other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
