Robert DeHart

Robert Emery DeHart, 77, of Alvarado, Texas, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020 in a Cleburne hospital. He was born April 27, 1942 in Andrews, Texas to Edward and Rose (Collins) DeHart. Robert married Patricia Ann Lester in 1982 in Rendon. Robert was always ready and proud to go to work driving that nice big Peterbilt that his boss and close friend, Nathan Wise had custom built for Robert to haul big heavy equipment around for Custom Truck, a 1 Source Company for close to 10 years. And the 10 yrs before that working for his boss Gregg Forbess at United Rental where he also drove a nice Peterbilt! Robert has always worked hard and if he didn’t get overtime well then that week didn’t count. Robert never met a stranger, everyone he came in contact with loved and respected him for who he was and will always be. He never complained about anything much, well maybe to his wife…and he would give you the shirt off his back. Robert was loved by all and will be missed greatly...
Robert is survived by his wife Patricia DeHart and their 4-four legged children, niece, Paige Dowell of Oklahoma; nephew, Aaron Lester of Ft Worth and sister, Margaret Wise of Wharton, Texas
Robert is preceded in death by his parents and his brother that he loved dearly.
