Robert Graham

Reverend Graham passed away Saturday, Mar. 12, 2010 in Ft. Worth. He was born May 3, 1937 in Conway, Ark. to Thomas Benjamin and Emogene Sims Graham. He married Jo Ann Blancett on Aug. 31, 1958 in Little Rock, Ark. Reverend Graham served as Pastor of the Field Street Baptist Church for 28 years. He was presently Pastor Emeritus of Field Street Baptist Church, past officer of the Johnson County Baptist Association, past board member of Howard Payne University and board member of the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. He also served on the executive board of the Southern Baptist Convention of Texas. Reverend Graham began his ministry at the age of 16 serving at Tulip, Ark., Olney, Tex., Blue Mound, Tex. and Quitman, Tex. before coming to Cleburne in 1974. He attended Ouachita University in Arkadelphia, Ark. and received a Masters of Divinity degree from Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth.
Rev. Graham is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jo Ann Graham of Cleburne; son, Bobby Graham and wife Lori of Mansfield; daughters, Kathryn Frederick and husband Michael of Dallas and Karen Hartgraves and husband Steve of Graham; grandchildren, Elizabeth , Lexi, Nick, Abigail, Graham and Heidi Kay; brother, Dr. Jack Graham and wife Deb of Frisco; two nephews and one niece.
