Robert Laurita

Service for Robert "Bob" William Laurita, 69, of Joshua will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 26, 2011 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Steve Dill will officiate. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Laurita passed away peacefully Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011 in Burleson. He was born December 11, 1941 in Queens, NY to Robert and Marie Keeley Laurita. He married Helen Evans on December 10, 1971 in Amityville, NY.

Bob served proudly in the United States Coast Guard and was currently employed with L.C. Chaney Trucking Company for the last three years. He was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Helen Laurita of Joshua; son, Andrew Laurita and wife Kim of Ft. Worth; daughter, Lisa Laurita and Jimmy Evans of Joshua; sister, Carla Saunders of NC; three grandchildren, Crystal Buckner and husband Brian, Tiffany Tucker and Brieanna Laurita, all of Joshua; and his beloved cat, Blackie.
