Robert McMahon

Robert E. McMahon, 90, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2009 in Rockdale, Texas. He was born to the late, Robert E., Sr. and Georgia Ruth Smith McMahon on August 2, 1919 in Cleburne. He married Ernestine Jones on February 8, 1943 in Cleburne. Robert was a member of the United Presbyterian Church. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was a proud veteran. He was a life member of the American Legion Post #50, Masonic Lodge #315, and Fort Worth Scottish Rite. Robert was a good father, grandfather, and enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling. His loving nature, great sense of humor, and patriotic spirit will be missed by all those that knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Ernestine Jones McMahon in 1997; and one great grandchild.

Funeral: 2pm, Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Crosier Pearson Cleburne Funeral Chapel. Visitation: 6-8pm, Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at the funeral home. Burial: Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. You may leave condolences for the family, view obituary and photo online at www.cpcleburne.com.

Survivors: Children and their spouses, Robert McMahon (Lynn), Clinton McMahon (Judy), and Nancy McMahon Creek (Ronnie); grandchildren, Robert McMahon,II (Tonia), Jennifer Andrews (Brad), Amy Draeger (David), Shawn McMahon, Matthew McMahon, Katlynn McMahon, Patrick McMahon, David McMahon, Dustin Creek, and Wesley Creek; four great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; brother, John McMahon (Willie); brother in law, Clayton Jones (Darlene); numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
