Robert Wingo

Service for Robert Wingo, 90. of Denton, will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 23, 2013 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Steve Dill will officiate. Interment will be in Squaw Creek Cemetery in Somervell County.

Robert Wingo passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2013 in Denton. He was born June 6, 1923 in Weatherford to Stephen Irwin and Pearl Newbury Wingo. He married Sybil Osborn on June 26, 1946 in Fort Worth.

Mr. Wingo was a Master plumber and also served in the US Navy.

Robert is survived by his wife, Sybil Wingo of Denton; daughter, Peggy Roy; son, Charlie Huckabee; sisters, Suzie Young and Joyce Ann Ledlow; brother, Stephen Wingo; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Robert Wayne Wingo and Buck Allen Huckabee.
