Service for Robyn Koonsman, 37, of Blum will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Friday, September 11, 2015 at Open Range Cowboy Church in Whitney. Burial will be in Blanton Cemetery in Hill County, near Blum. Visitation will be from 6-9:00 P.M., Thursday, at the church.
Robyn Koonsman passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2015 in Blum. She was born September 16, 1977 in Cleburne to John and Carolyn Allen Kennedy. She married James B. Koonsman on December 16, 2000 in Whitney.
Mrs. Koonsman graduated from Blum High School and Tarleton State University. She worked as a counselor for Blum I.S.D. and was a member of Open Range Cowboy Church.
Survivors include her husband, James Koonsman; daughter, Jordyn Koonsman; parents, John and Carolyn Kennedy; three sisters, Kathy Leifeste and husband Chad, Deb McFarland and husband Todd, and LaDonna Jean and husband Dean; grandmother, Dorothy Kennedy; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica Hope Koonsman on November 30, 2013; grandfather, Ed Kennedy; and grandparents, Tom and Estie Allen.
