Rocky Stripling

Graveside service for Rocky Q. Stripling, 62, of Covington will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 29, 2023 in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, April 28, 2023 at the funeral home.

Rocky passed away April 24, 2023 in Covington. He was born July 1, 1960 in Fort Worth the son of Donald and Joan Goodwin Stripling. Rocky married Rhonda Kaye McAllister on December 21, 1994 in Fort Worth. Rocky enjoyed classic rock music, gun collecting and was a whiskey connoisseur. He always made everyone laugh. Rocky was a strong provider and hard working. He possessed great leadership skills. Rocky loved his animals which included 5 dogs and 2 pigs. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Rocky is survived by his wife, Rhonda Stripling; children, Londa Little and husband, Johnathan, Jonathan Stripling and wife, Jessie, David Stripling and wife, Jessica, Robert Stripling and wife, Armeshia; father, Donald Stripling; sisters, Barbara Lee, Deborah Smalley, Cindy Chambers, Kim Pafford; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

Rocky is preceded in death by his mother, Joan Stripling and great-grandchild, Roman Reyes.
