Service for Romelda Vinson, 75, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 AM Monday, March 10, 2014 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Interment will be in Georges Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.

Romelda Vinson passed away Friday, March 7, 2014 in Crowley. She was born August 29, 1938 in Caddo County, Oklahoma to Lawrence C. and Modena Patterson Rogers. She married Freddy J. Vinson in March 1956 in Joshua.

Romelda loved to visit and shop with her sister, Jerrie. She enjoyed flower gardening outside. She was very family oriented and enjoyed cooking for everyone for family gatherings.

Mrs. Vinson was a teller for Pinnacle Bank and First Financial Bank with over 20 years of service, retiring in 2007. She also was member of Lane Prairie Baptist Church.

Romelda Vinson is survived by her children, Mike Vinson and Tina Allen and husband Jack; grandchildren, Brian, Cody, Tyler, Brittany and Amy; four great-grandchildren; sister, Jerrie Martin; nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Tammy Colson; granddaughter, Tara; siblings, Lloyd Rogers and Betty Jean; and brother-in-law, Sid Martin.
