Rommie K. Love

Memorial service for Rommie K. Love, 81, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Monday, Nov. 28, 2016 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Adam Mathews will officiate, assisted by the Reverend Larry York.
Rommie K. Love passed away Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016 in Ft. Worth. He was born April 27, 1935 in Wheeler County, TX to John Douglas, Jr. and Margaret Tatum Love. He married Jimmie L. Tarpley on Aug. 19, 1961 in Cleburne.
Mr. Love served in the United States Army and was a service specialist for Lone Star Gas Company, retiring with 43 years of service. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a friend to many. Rommie was a member of Nolan River Rd. Baptist Church.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 55 years, Jimmie Love of Cleburne; sons, Stephen K. Love and wife Brenda of Cleburne, Ethan A. Love of Austin, and John J. Love and wife Pam of Denver, CO.; grandchildren, Kaycey Love of Waco and Garrett Love of Whitney; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him greatly. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Jannie Beall.
