Ronald Patterson

Services for Ronald Dean Patterson, 71, of Benbrook will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 27, 2009 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Reverend Charles Payne will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will include family members and friends.
Mr. Patterson passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2009 in Ft. Worth. He was born March 13, 1938 in Ft. Worth to Eugene and Myrtle Jane Smith Patterson. He married Ada Lee Odom on December 20, 1971 in Hillsboro.
Ron lived all his life in Cleburne before moving to Benbrook seven years ago. He retired from Johnson County where he worked in precincts 4, 3 and 1. He loved camping and the outdoors. Recently he was able to fulfill a lifetime wish by traveling to Palo Duro Canyon and into the mountains in Ruidoso, NM.
Ron Patterson is survived by two sons, Cary Patterson and wife, Karen of Keene and Scott Patterson and wife, Lonna, of Cleburne; six grandchildren; one brother, Junior Homesley, of Cleburne and two nieces, Paula Odom Brimer and husband, Gary and Debbie Odom, of Ft. Worth and many friends including Zelta Foster and Larry and Kathy Wright. He was preceded in death by his wife Ada Lee Odom Patterson and one son, Randy Patterson. He and Ada Lee had 26 wonderful years together and he looked forward to being reunited with her in Heaven.
