Graveside service for Ronnie Golden, 79, of Cleburne, formerly of Whitney, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, February 10, 2022, in Bethlehem Cemetery. Reverend Adam Mathews will officiate.
Ronnie passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022, in Fort Worth. He was born December 2, 1942, in Dalhart, Texas to George “Dick” Franklin, Jr., and Nelma Noreen Williams Golden. He married Joy Dean Dyer on August 9, 1962, in Amarillo. Ronnie served in the United States Army and worked as a Federal Meat Inspector for over 35 years. He was of the Baptist faith.
Ronnie is survived by his wife of 59 years, Joy Golden of Cleburne; daughters, Ronda Fiedler of Joshua, Sheri Duffy of Burleson, and Peggy Lovelady and husband, Danny of Amarillo; grandchildren, B.J. White and wife, Nikole, Heather White and husband, Dario Meucci, Eric Knutson and wife, Ashley, April Ferguson and husband, Jeran, Robert Sillivent and wife, Melissa, Randi Knutson, Josh Sillivent and wife, Jacobi, and Taylor Fiedler; 13 great-grandchildren; and 5 nieces.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dick and Nelma Golden; brother, Jodell Golden; great-grandson, Benjamin Ryder Sillivent; and son-in-law, Richard Duffy.
