Ronnie Hall

Graveside services for Ronnie Melburn Hall, 79, of DeSoto, will be conducted at 12:00 Noon on Friday, January 27, 2023 in the Rio Vista Cemetery with Pastor Dave Lucas officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday, January 25, 2023.

Ronnie Melburn Hall passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023 in Dallas. He was born to Melburn Odell “Boots” and Margie Lee Fowler Hall on November 13, 1943 in Cleburne. Ronnie was of the Baptist faith. He worked over 45 years with various publishing and printing companies. He married Lou Ann Stafford on December 17, 1966 in Rio Vista. Ronnie was a man with a giving heart and generous nature. Everyone knew him, but not all knew him by name, but rather by his actions. He could often be found whistling, hunting the next treasure at estate and garage sales, or picking pecans. Ronnie was an avid reader, especially of sci-fi books. Ronnie has left a mark on all who knew him and will be remembered fondly for generations to follow. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and brother, Larry Hall.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Rick Gonzalez; granddaughter, Adriana Gonzalez; siblings and their spouses, Mark & Cathy Hall and Krista & Johnny Matthews; sisters-in-law, Yvonne Hall and Susie Akins & husband, Rick; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
