Service for Ronnie Joe Russell, 68, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, December 22, 2014 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Mike Mizell will officiate. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-5:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home.

Ronnie Joe Russell passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014 in Ft. Worth. He was born March 17, 1946 in Ft. Worth to Emil Vern and Thadda Lucille Jones Russell. He married Bessie May on June 17, 1966 in Ellis County.

Mr. Russell worked in maintenance at SAGU. He was of the Assembly of God faith.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Bessie Russell; children, Cheryl Binder, Rhonda Kartheiser and husband Tim, Angela Almand and husband Jeff, and James Russell and fiancée Gina Segura; grandchildren, David Hale, Allison Hale, Meagan Almand, Jacob Almand, Caitlyn Russell, Karson Russell, Aleigha Russell, Trey Kartheiser, and Vance Kartheiser; and a sister, Sherry Cochran and husband Jackie. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Emil Wayne Russell; sisters, Shirley Galttana and Louise Taylor; and son-in-law, Eric Binder.
