Rosa Vaughan

Graveside service for Rosa Irene Vaughan, 94, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 28, 2018 in Rosehill Cemetery. The Reverend Brooks Monk will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Rosa Irene Vaughan passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 in Cleburne. She was born June 22, 1924 in Kopperl to George Dewey and Lydia Annie Bell Bullard Winkler.
Mrs. Vaughan worked as a waitress before retiring. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary, local unit No.50.
Survivors include her daughters, Lena Lain and Betty Hall, both of Cleburne; 10 grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charlie Hilton Vaughan; son, Charles Wayne Vaughan; grandson, James Hilton Vaughan; sister, Ira Mae Parnell; and brothers, Evel Winkler, George Winkler, and Henry Winkler.
