Rose Branham

Service for Rose Marie Branham,68, of Rio Vista will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, November 16, 2023, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Isaac Anthony Branham, Brendan Blue Snider, Terry King, Bobby Wayne Thomasson, Cooper Powell Harwell, and Kenneth Gene Lee. Honorary pallbearer will be Izac Austad.

Rose Marie passed away Friday, November 10, 2023, in Rio Vista. She was born April 1, 1955, in Cleburne. Rose Marie married Joel Glyn Branham on November 9, 1979, in Cleburne. She was a member of New Life Baptist Church in Covington. Rose Marie was completely devoted to her family. Rose, Momma, grandma had a fiery love for each member of her family. She never held her tongue, nor her opinion, which is why we loved her even more. Her love continues to hold the family together and she taught them to carry on traditions. She may have been short in stature but her morals, fierceness and love never waivered. Rose Marie was an angel among us and is now shining, her light upon us.

Rose Marie is survived by her sons, Cary Snider and wife, Gloria, Bates Branham and wife, Julie, Rowdy Branham; 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Kay Harwell and husband, Richard, Sonia Lee, Bill Lee and wife, Shannon, and Kenny Lee.

Rose Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Joel; parents, Raymond D. and Juanita Blue (Lightsey) Lee and son, Randy Branham.
